What Valentine Day Means to Celebrities

Valentine’s Day is celebrated all over the world on every February 14. It festival of romantic love and many people give cards, letters, flowers or presents to their spouse or partner. They may also arrange a romantic meal in a restaurant or hang out on that day. Common symbols of Valentine’s Day are red roses and Cupid among others. Some entertainers share how they intend to celebrate this year’s Valentine Day with our reporter and what the day means to them.

Valentine Day is a season of sharing and expression of love. For comedians, we don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day because it’s another work day for us. We’ll be working for those who are celebrating. So,I’ll be celebrating it at different locations and hang outs.

I’ll be spending time with kids — Empress Njamah, Actress

Valentine’s Day is a day to show love and care, not only to friends and families,but also, to those in need. I set up a foundation called House of Empress Foundation. So, I and my friends will be spending time with the kids, supporting them as they showcase their talents. We will host them and bring smile to their faces. On Val’s night, I’m going to be anchoring a Val’s show.

Valentine Day to me, is a season to celebrate and show love to people around you. For me, this is a period where I show love to the less privileged in our society. I intend to spend the day with my loved ones and family members.

Personally, I believe Valentine day is all about love and sharing… not only with your loved ones but also, with everybody around you. However, we must not only show them love on Valentine’s day, but also, every other day. I have no plans for this year’s Valentine Day. I’ll be on movie location in Enugu. So, it will be another work day for me.
